Vision is constantly stressed by everyday accommodation efforts, causing visual fatigue to appear at the end of the day. Indeed, our ever accelerating lifestyles, the growing number of screens (television, computer) and the use of artificial light are the main causes of visual fatigue, causing headaches, itching eyes, visual disorders, etc.

Some tips for relieving your eyes

  • Of course, correction lenses should be used where necessary. On this topic, if you wear contact lenses, you should remove them at the end of the day and wear your glasses to rest your eyes.
  • Get enough sleep: to maintain good eyesight, you should focus on sleeping 8 to 9 hours per night, maintaining a healthy environment and eating a balanced diet.
  • When we work on computer screens all day long, it is important to adjust the monitor height correctly and to place it at arm's length. Avoid dazzle and, wherever possible, use natural or indirect light.If your eyes focus for too long on a single point, they tend to dry out. It is thus important to moisturise them by blinking or wetting them.
  • Remember to take breaks throughout the day to rest your eyes. Breaking away from your monitor or book, etc., for just a few minutes will allow your eyes to rest. Our simple "massage" tips

Remember to massage your eyes! Close your eyes and make small circular movements starting from the inner corner of the eye, following the brow bone to the outer corner. This gentle pressure serves to reactivate blood flow. Ideally, you should perform this massage three times per day.
